Maggie O’Brien

With seven years experience teaching Lagree Fitness and having led more than 150 teacher trainings globally, Maggie O’Brien is dedicated to helping others change their lives through the magic of Lagree Fitness. As one of five Senior Master Trainers in the world, Maggie has built a reputation for inspiring others to reach goals they thought were out of reach. She is known for helping clients and trainers embrace a better understanding of their own bodies by focusing on correct form and alignment, muscle activation, and functional fitness. At the same time, Maggie’s form corrections, slow tempo, and minimal transition time ensures that every client shakes, sweats and feels sore after every one of her classes. She’s also personable, compassionate and dedicated to clients’ and trainers’ feeling great about themselves and their progress, whatever that looks like for them. When not in the studio, you can find Maggie teaching classes for Lagree On Demand, traveling the world certifying new Lagree Fitness trainers, taking classes herself, as well as doing yoga, pilates, strength training, and meditating. She loves to learn, and is a NASM-certified personal trainer, has studied Biomechanics, Pilates, Anatomy and the Science of Movement, and is undergoing a 200-hour yoga teacher training course in Bali in 2025.

The best fitness is a variation of a plank, a squat and a lunge. In Lagree Fitness, we do them — only longer.
